This is a brilliant move on AMC’s part, as The Walking Dead is a hugely viewed popular series and any program following it is sure to gain viewers. This move on AMC’s part really shows how confident they are in the program.
The pilot will also receive an Encore on Memorial Day, starting at 9pm EST on May 29th and resume again at 9 PM EST on June 5th. These dates are more than likely indicating when The Walking Dead will go on its hiatus and the second season of Fear the Walking Dead airs.
The Pilot was Directed by Seth Rogan and Evan Goldberg who also serve as the Showrunner with Pilot writer Sam Cailtin and is based on the Vertigo Comics, created by Garth Ennis and Steve Dillon.
