According to Ray Fisher who played Cyborg in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and Justice League, in an interview with Inverse, he went on to imply that it’s possible for Ben Affleck to return as Batman in an upcoming movies

Fisher went on to talk on Matt Reeves’s The Batman, stating that what he understands the movie will have a younger take on Batman, not to say that an older version of the character, in other words Affleck’s Batman, can’t show back up later on.

“It’s my understanding that it’s going to be a younger take on Batman,” Fisher says. “So that’s not to say that our older version of Batman can’t show back up.”

Of course this could simply be hopeful thinking on Fisher’s behalf, one many fans believe could be possible, that Affleck isn’t really completely out as Batman in the DC Extended Universe, as no one has confirmed that, just that he won’t be appearing in Reeves’s first Batman movie installment, but could very well appear in other installments if where were be any.

The Batman is slated to release in theaters on June 25th, 2021.
