Recently MTV News spoke with Russell Crowe about if he was interested in returning to the DC Cinematic Universe as Jor-El and here is his response
Man of Steel was a very mixed film from fans and critics, I personally loved the film, but even those who didn’t like the film agreed that the scenes on Krypton and more specifically Russell Crowe as Jor-El really stood out as some really great moments and while his character died twice it be interesting if we could have a return.
With Man of Steel we saw many scenes told in flashbacks and thus method could be used to expand on Jor-Els story as it may reflect on whatever the current story in Superman’s life is as we can expect more of Krypton’s past coming to haunt Superman in the future.
We do know that when you sign on for a DC Film you are not signing for one film but multiple films so to see his relationship with Zod or Brainiac or maybe even Zor-El (Supergirl’s dad and estranged brother to Jor-El).
