According to Deadline, David F. Sandberg’s Shazam! 2, starring Zackary Levi as the title character, which was set to release in Spring on April 1st, 2022 has been pushed back by Warner Bros. to Fall of November 4th of that year.
Shazam! 2 which has yet to officially start production, as production for the movie was set to take place in July of this year. Which looks like that won’t be happening as Warner Bros. is clearly pushing back its release date due to the film not going into principal production this upcoming Summer due to the Coronavirus pandemic.
Shazam! 2 is one of the two DC movies to be have its date pushed back, as Matt Reeves’s The Batman was also pushed back from its Summer release date of Summer June 25th, 2021 to Fall October 1st of the same year.
