Oscar Nominated Actor George Coe has sadly passed away at age 86 on July 19, 2015. According to Variety, the SAG activist passed away due to a long battle with an illness, the illness does not seem to be disclosed.
We here at DC Comics Movie, will always remember him for his role as William Clark in the Smallville Season 2 episode “Redux “.
In the episode Jonathan Kent (John Schneider) had run into financial trouble and Martha Kent (Annette O’Toole) had decided it was time to go to her Father for the money, despite a decades old grudge between them. He was only in one episode, but he gave some insight on how Martha had grown up and the baggage the family had even before Clark came into the picture.
It was a shame his character never returned as it did feel like something to further explore. So as Clark called him RIP Grandad.
