Warner Bros. has officially released the release date for the second installment to David Ayer’s Suicide Squad, which is now being reported will be written and directed by James Gunn.
Along with Matt Reeves’s The Batman Summer release on May 21, 2021, Gunn’s The Suicide Squad which is what it’s being called by the studio, is slated to be released in the Summer of 2021, with a release date of August 6th.
As we perviously reported, Gunn’s Suicide Squad will be taking a different direction to that of Ayer’s first movie, with a mostly all-new cast of characters and actors and that the movie will have more of a Guardians of the Galaxy vibe to it, than the dark comedy that was seen in Ayer’s first installment.
