Suicide Squad has entered its seventh week and has officially crossed the $400 million dollar mark in the International box office, thus far making $405 million internationally, bring the film’s worldwide box office to $718, 882, 332.
The worldwide total also brings the film’s box office above two recent Marvel inspired films, such as Captain America: The Winter Soldier, which ended at $714,421,503 and The Amazing Spider-Man 2, which ended at $708,982,323 and both which were released in the second biggest market that is China, unlike Suicide Squad.
Considering Captain America: The Winter Soldier was the ninth film in a successful franchise and Suicide Squad is the third film in a franchise that has received mixed reviews by critics and some audience members, the current total is quite impressive.
