Suicide Squad’s Final Domestic Box Office Total $325.1 Million Dollars

Suicide Squad has officially finished its domestic theatrical run at $325.1 million dollars, keeping it 5 million dollars shy of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice’s domestic run of $330.3 million. The domestic total manage to unseat both Iron Man ($318.4 million) and Captain America: The Winter Soldier ($259.7 million), two of the more popular films in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

The worldwide total is now $745.6 Million and very impressive when you add in that this film had a lot of negative reviews, is based on unknown characters and had no China release, taking away the nearly $100 million dollars, that China usually adds to the overall boxoffice total for a film like Suicide Squad.

My name is Eric and I am loving this current comic book boom, I was around for the first one with Superman: The Movie, Supergirl(being the first female and crossover film) and Batman and have been enjoying the resurgence since Blade. Can't express how much I cannot wait for WB & DC to take back the film universe but until than I love the TV shows we have gotten. I only started reading comics about 10 years ago but am connected more to DC over Marvel or any other major company. If you wanna chat feel free to contact me

This proves it all. Suicide Squad, a movie based on unknown characters, even people who are fan of DC or Batman they didn’t know who was the Squad, have beat most of the other adaptations. Is a big success, maybe the biggest comic book movie success based on all the premises. The negativity and all the ignorance of ignorant little beings can go away and under the earth. The DCEU is here to show what means create art and this art will stand forever. Laughs best who laughs last.

  • DC and Warner Bros. should be very proud of what they have created.
