The Hollywood Reporter recently gave their thoughts on what we could expect on the upcoming Fall releases and in the report they have a few interesting things to say about Supergirl.
First off it’s interesting to see that the head of CBS Nina Tassler, apparently loves the pilot and that the studio is considering it for a Summer series, which along with shows like Under the Dome, would certainly set them apart from most networks who are airing reality shows and reruns.
The CW which is co-owned by CBS, recently also discussed making DC shows for the Summer schedule and this could be where that idea has trickled over to the CBS side of that network.
I find this to be a terrific idea, but at the moment please take it with a grain of salt, but THR is usually very good with their sources.
