The Batman May Not Start Production Until 2018

Variety writer Justin Kroll has gone to twitter to talk about what he is hearing on the solo Batman front. Kroll points out that director Matt Reeves is working to finish War For the Planet of the Apes until at least the end of June.  This means that any casting news or Pre-Production work won’t be happening until at least July, as Reeves won’t be meeting with anyone until after he completes his Apes film.

As always this is not confirmed, but Kroll has never been wrong on his scoops and more likely in the realm of fact.

My name is Eric and I am loving this current comic book boom, I was around for the first one with Superman: The Movie, Supergirl(being the first female and crossover film) and Batman and have been enjoying the resurgence since Blade. Can't express how much I cannot wait for WB & DC to take back the film universe but until than I love the TV shows we have gotten. I only started reading comics about 10 years ago but am connected more to DC over Marvel or any other major company. If you wanna chat feel free to contact me

It will be ready when it will be ready. At this point I consider useless keep going with news about this movie. Bloggers and filthy people of news sites have already spit crap on it. On top of that, Ben was fighting with alcool addiction. I didn’t know that people who write for a magazine/site like variety are the new Nostradamus, didn’t know was possible to predict the future, because actually it isn’t. We just need to wait and be patience. If the movie is supposed to happen, it will, If not, life goes on.
