As we perviously reported, in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, director Matt Reeves went on to say that they were aiming for a late Spring or Summer 2021 release date for The Batman, now it’s been confirmed by Deadline that the movie will have a June 25th, 2021 release.
With the news of Affleck stepping down from the role and it now going to someone younger, it now makes sense why the movie has such a far release date, even though it’s suppose to begin going into production sometime this year.
No casting news has been released whatsoever as to who will be featured in the movie, we only know that Affleck is no longer attached and casting is now underway for at least the Batman rouge gallery.
