The Hollywood Reporter has announced that The CW has officially renewed all of their DC Entertainment programing , which includes Arrow, The Flash, iZombie and DC’s Legends of Tomorrow.
It’s no surprise as The Flash would get its third season order as it has continued to keep the ratings up high on its Tuesday night slot, despite competition as well as continuing to be a huge lead in for the Vertigo adaptation of iZombie, which in itself was renewed for a third season and continues to keep its numbers up.
While Arrow has been a source of debate for many fans it has continued to keep its numbers steady and thus getting its fifth season order is far from a surprise. It’s also continued to be a great lead in for veteran series Supernatural on Wednesday nights.
DC’s Legends of Tomorrow has also continued to impress on a rating scale, especially for a Thursday night-time slot and with the promise that we will be getting a different line up each season akin to the old Brave and the Bold comics and with Vixen and Constantine being at least two contenders to be included, its great to hear we will get a Season 2.
So congratulations to all the cast and crew of these 4 incredible shows, now we just have Gotham and Lucifer over at FOX to wait on their renewals. Let’s hope we get renewals on those as well, as they have also kept their ratings steady.
