When Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice was released it was a very mixed film, many hated it and others loved it, very few were in the middle. The haters went on to criticize and disrespect director Zack Snyder in many ways, due to the version that was released in theaters.
Now in a very rare situation, much of the critics have been apologizing to Zack Snyder and have had a change of hearts in the director’s abilities to bring on the Justice League after seeing the Ultimate Edition of Batman v Superman. With at least one apology telling Warner Bros. to allow for Zack Snyder’s Justice League to be released as he sees fit.
Even Collider Heroes, who is known for being heavily critical of the DC Extended Universe, has turned a corner by saying they feel sorry now for Zack Snyder as the version released was clearly not his vision.
Zack Snyder is currently shooting Justice League but its been revealed he has been seeing all the Zack Attacks memes, so more than likely he’ll see these apologies. I personally thought both versions were great but I would be lying if I didn’t say the Ultimate Edition raised the bar a bit.
