It was announced today at the New York Comic Con panel for Batman: Bad Blood by James Tucker that The Killing Joke was given the green light to be made as an R Rated film.
Considering how close Batman: Assault on Arkham got to an R Rating, it would be interesting to see what more they can do with the story. It was made clear later that James Tucker said that while he is given the okay to make an R Rated film, he is not sure that he actually will make it R.
Personally don’t think we have to have The Killing Joke be Rated R, but what is exciting is that if they are willing to change it up on these Animated Film.
