Following the events of the last episode Mari McCabe accesses the powers of the necklace and decides to look further into the history of the necklace and soon a new danger appears

( votes)Episode 2 of the online CW Seed series Vixen has just been put online and I thought I’d give my thoughts on the episode.
I liked how it streamlined from one episode to the next and the effect the power of the necklace has on her. We are already starting to get a feeling of the danger that Mari will face soon with the appearance of the villain.
It was also cool to discover the necklaces origins being connected to ancient Gods. I don’t read Vixen comics, so this is all new to me. The flashback we get isn’t too bad, I couldn’t help but think of Lex Luthor’s flashback in Smallville where he was all by himself on his birthday.
There is one line of dialogue that had me cringe, but it wasn’t too bad and the rest of the dialogue was good as was the overall episode.
