Warner Bros. had a very successful Summer this year, as the studio is listed on Bloomberg to having five box office winners, with Suicide Squad coming in as the studio’s biggest hit for the Summer and the fourth most profitable film for the season.
In hand, Suicide Squad has helped push Warner Bros. to become the second most successful studio for the Summer, with $350 million in profit for the season. Warner Bros. president of worldwide distribution Veronika Kwan Vandenberg, went on to confirmed this in an interview, stating that this Summer has been one of the most profitable and they’re very pleased:
“The overall market remains constant, if not up, from last year,” Veronika Kwan Vandenberg, Warner Bros.’ president of worldwide distribution, said in an interview. “We are very pleased with our summer; it will be one of our most profitable.”
