Warner Bros. Negotiating with Patty Jenkins for Wonder Woman 2

According to The Hollywood Reporter, regardless what they previously reported, Wonder Woman director Patty Jenkins was only signed on for one film, though now with the film breaking records, the studio is looking to negotiate over the terms of doing a sequel.

The DC Extended Universe has been financially successful with each film breaking the $100 million dollar mark in their opening weekends, but it hasn’t had a critically successful film until Wonder Woman, so the studio hesitation to have Jenkins sign on to more than one likely allowed both parties to have a better working relationship.

Patty Jenkins made it clear that she loves the character and already has ideas in mind but would like to do a smaller film before getting back into that world again. Let’s hope Warner Bros. handles this well and we get a sequel directed by Jenkins.

My name is Eric and I am loving this current comic book boom, I was around for the first one with Superman: The Movie, Supergirl(being the first female and crossover film) and Batman and have been enjoying the resurgence since Blade. Can't express how much I cannot wait for WB & DC to take back the film universe but until than I love the TV shows we have gotten. I only started reading comics about 10 years ago but am connected more to DC over Marvel or any other major company. If you wanna chat feel free to contact me

Who the hell cares about a bunch of failed people aka critics, the only thing that they can do is to criticize DC, because they’re too busy kissing marvel’s back. Critics are dumb, they love WW because everything is explained and they don’t have to use the only brain cell that they got. I don’t care about critics, they are useless, they actually don’t do anything, they just say something about movies made by other people, they are actaully useless. Why people aren’t able to understand that we live our life, not the life of others? Why people aren’t able to understand that we have to enjoy what we like, not what others like? Maybe cuz people are stupid, maybe. I think that WW is great, but I have to say that they played safe with the movie. The story is so much linear that even the dumbest of the stupids can understand. Everything is explained with dialogues and words, and by everything I mean every single damn thing. Critics likes WW cuz is easy to understand, is great but is not great as BvS, a pure art of perfection. BvS is a smart bold movie that try to let the audience think, but the audience rather like a movie where he has to be guide by a continued explanation than a movie where HAS to use the brain and pay attention. A movie is not just a book, is not just a painting, is the combination of both. If people are ignorants and they aren’t able to understand BvS or MoS, is not Zack fault, is their fault. The DCEU is a success, let the critics sentences aside, cuz hasn’t a meaning. The DCEU is the only comic book movie universe with every single movie that have reached and surpass 100 million in the opening weekend. This says everything. Everything.
Media sites are ridiculous. They published an article saying a thing and another article that say the opposite? Ridiculous. They don’t even know what they’re talking about, they try to guess. They say everything so something will be correct. As I said, this is ridiculous but is more ridicolus the fact that people believe in everything they read. Are people not smart enough to understant how all this works? Lies, lies, lies and someone can think that a lie is the truth only if is not smart to understand. Ergo, the people able to understand will understand, the others are just puppets and sheep.
Never forget: “If you’re not careful, the newspapers will have you hating the people who are being oppressed, and loving the people who are doing the oppressing.”
