I felt tremendous relief and joy, but that quickly gave way to thoughtful hope it will be everything we wanted it to be, for all.

To believe in what I love. The best thing about making this film is that I love the genre and the film itself. That's possible so go for it.

That part wasn't that challenging, because they have had such a history to work from. But fun to play with their POV of those times.
— Patty Jenkins (@PattyJenks) May 24, 2017
The original Marston run, of course. The George Perez run. Then lots of things from here and there.
— Patty Jenkins (@PattyJenks) May 24, 2017
My own love of a great superhero origin story. My love of story in general, and belief that they can inspire. My love of Wonder Woman.
— Patty Jenkins (@PattyJenks) May 24, 2017
Relentlessly pursue it. Stay humble and hard working. Learn everything you can. Focus on what you love.
— Patty Jenkins (@PattyJenks) May 24, 2017
So many things but maybe those great moments when Wonder Woman showed up, both in visual moments and in spirit, on set.
— Patty Jenkins (@PattyJenks) May 24, 2017
Thank you. It was very fun to work on and think about how she might fight differently. The Amazons too.
— Patty Jenkins (@PattyJenks) May 24, 2017
The original run, with all its nuances. I also really loved the New 52 Diana storyline of leaving the island, and on.
— Patty Jenkins (@PattyJenks) May 24, 2017
There are many ways, but start writing right away. Then working on a film set is good, or there are great schools to help you get a foot in.
— Patty Jenkins (@PattyJenks) May 24, 2017
I think exhaustion. Lots of very very long periods with no sleep yet a need to keep on the top of the game of presence and focus.
— Patty Jenkins (@PattyJenks) May 24, 2017
It never occurred to me I could be a director until I was in college. But had grown up loving Almodovar, the Coen Bros., Richard Donner.
— Patty Jenkins (@PattyJenks) May 24, 2017
Amazing. She is such an inspiration, and amazingly "Wonder Woman" like in who she is in every way. A real beauty too. Wonderful.
— Patty Jenkins (@PattyJenks) May 24, 2017
I love them all, but Steve Trevor is so important and Chris Pine breathed magic into him. He and Diana are so great together in this film.
— Patty Jenkins (@PattyJenks) May 24, 2017
Definitely Chris and @RealLucyDavis. They are hysterical. But Gal is super funny too so they would set it up, and she would kick it back.
— Patty Jenkins (@PattyJenks) May 24, 2017
For sure I did. I loved it.
— Patty Jenkins (@PattyJenks) May 24, 2017
The alley scene was a direct homage. That was a ton of fun. But tone and character overall is the biggest indicator.
— Patty Jenkins (@PattyJenks) May 24, 2017
I'd say every few weeks when Gal would walk onto set in costume we would all feel it. Oh my god. There is Wonder Woman. We're doing it!
— Patty Jenkins (@PattyJenks) May 24, 2017
Attitude in position of holding off an entire army with her shield. A great scene now, but a hard one to shoot on the day. So cold! Poor Gal
— Patty Jenkins (@PattyJenks) May 24, 2017
I would work with Gal on any movie. I'd work with Gal on a farm. I'd do anything with Gal. And we hope to. 😉 https://t.co/2LHUzYqDif
— Patty Jenkins (@PattyJenks) May 24, 2017
The romance is always the hardest because magic between people is mercurial. But caught it we did. 😉 Can't wait for the world to see. https://t.co/idPTeXQPeX
— Patty Jenkins (@PattyJenks) May 24, 2017
Yes, a lot. I took that responsibility VERY seriously, every day. https://t.co/NoQkFwQiTX
