Yahya Abdul-Mateen II (The Get Down, The Greatest Showman) who’s playing Black Manta in James Wan’s Aquaman, starring Jason Momoa as the titled character, went on to state in an interview with Flickering Myth for his new film Boundaries, at SXSW that he’s very happy with what he’s seen so far from Aquaman.
“I can’t say much about that,” said Abdul-Mateen. “I have seen some of it, and I’m very happy with what I’ve seen thus far.”
There’s no official word as to when Warner Bros. will drop the first trailer to the movie, though there’s rumor it might drop during Wonder Con, which takes place but the movie is set to be released on March 23rd to March 25th.
Aquaman releases in theater on December 21, 2018.
