Warner Bros. Animation has just announced that Season 3 of Young Justice has officially begun production and went as far as praising fans for their persistence in bringing the show back, with the show’s return, producers Greg Weisman and Brandon Vietti are also returning.
“The affection that fans have had for Young Justice, and their rallying cry for more episodes, has always resonated with us,” said Sam Register, President, Warner Bros. Animation and Warner Digital Series, in a statement “We are excited to bring the show back for this loyal fanbase and to provide an opportunity for new viewers to discover this excellent series.”
No word yet on who is returning and who may be replaced for the voice cast, but many of the cast have made it a point to show their enthusiasm on bringing it back, including making “Binge Young Justice” videos or the hashtag’s encouraging fans to bring the series back. There is also no word yet on if the renewal will be on Netflix.
Consider this a huge win for DC fans, Young Justice fans and a huge wins for those who worked hard on Season 1 and Season 2.
