Arrow/The Flash is getting a Superhero Team Up Spin-off Show

According to Deadline, spin-off series starring Brandon Routh (Ray Palmer/The Atom), Victor Garber (Half of Firestorm), Wentworth Miller (Captain Cold) and Caity Lotz (Sara Lance/Black Canary) is in early development stages over at The CW and its said the series will feature recurring appearances by members of both Arrow and The Flash as well as 3 DC Characters that never appeared on TV before.

With Arrow creators Greg Berlanti, Andrew Kreisberg and Marc Guggenheim are on board. CW President had teased this project back in January. Its said that it is not going to enter the pilot stage and it may just go straight to series, seeing as the character are already established and is looking like it might be a mid-season premiere (perhaps like Agent Carter aired during Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D’s winter hiatus).

The two most interesting cast members to note here are Wentworth Miller and Caity Lotz, Wentworth Miller currently plays Captain Cold, a villain on The Flash, however if he is looking to be on this series it could mean they are making him an anti-hero, like he has been in the current New 52. It could also mean he is the main villain of the series bringing together an Injustice League.

Caity Lotz, who has played Sara Lance/Black Canary on Arrow had her character supposedly killed off the series. Its possible she is set for a return due to the certain Lazarus Pit.

Stephen Amell has been teasing a while that CW are developing their own Justice League and it’s possible this is how they are doing it.

UPDATE: Actress Caity Lotz herself took to her Facebook to confirm the news, along with the original article
