Badass Digest has announced on April 25th they will be hosting a screening for The Flash television series that starred John Wesley Shipp as Barry Allen/The Flash and ran for one season on CBS from 1990 to 1991.
Members of the cast and crew will appear to discuss the series, it’s legacy and the impact it has now with the new series.
Join Badass Digest lead scribe Devin Faraci as he chats onstage with producers/creators Danny Bilson and Paul DeMeo, along with cast members Mike Genovese (“Lt. Warren Garfield”), Joyce Hyser (“Megan Lockhart”) and Vito D’Ambrosio (“Officer Tony Bellows”), director Bruce Bilson, writers Howard Chaykin and Gail Morgan Hickman, 1st AD/writer David Newman, suit designer Robert Short, and Arrow/Flash reboot producer Andrew Kriesberg — plus, we’ll screen selected Flash episodes for devotees and neophytes alike.
It is disappointing that John Wesley Shipp, Mark Hamill, Alex Desert and Amanda Pays are missing from the list, but I have reached out to them to see if they are going and when I know you will know.
UPDATE: Johny Wesley Shipp and Mark Hamill are both confirmed.
