Katie Cassidy who plays Black Canary on Arrow, posted the First Look at what Laurel Lance / Black Canary will look like in the CW Seed series Vixen, which confirms that Katie Cassidy will be among the voice cast to appear on the animated series based on the DC Comics character Vixen, a female superhero from Zambesi who adopts the abilities of animals.
For those unaware Vixen will serve as an online series within The Flash and Arrow Universe done in animation, most likely due to the FX that would come from Vixen’s ability, however it has been said we could still get a live action appearance of the character.

My name is Eric and I am loving this current comic book boom, I was around for the first one with Superman: The Movie, Supergirl(being the first female and crossover film) and Batman and have been enjoying the resurgence since Blade. Can't express how much I cannot wait for WB & DC to take back the film universe but until than I love the TV shows we have gotten.
