According to ComicBook.com, Ally McBeal actress Calista Flockhart has been cast in the role of Cat Grant on the CBS television series Supergirl.
Cat Grant is known for being a gossip columnist for The Daily Planet, she has also been shown to have an infatuation with Clark Kent.
Tracy Soggins is probably the best known to have played the role on Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman along Dean Cain and Teri Hather in the title roles.
Supergirl is being headed by Greg Berlanti, who also oversees Arrow and The Flash and will premiere this Fall on CBS.

My name is Eric and I am loving this current comic book boom, I was around for the first one with Superman: The Movie, Supergirl(being the first female and crossover film) and Batman and have been enjoying the resurgence since Blade. Can't express how much I cannot wait for WB & DC to take back the film universe but until than I love the TV shows we have gotten.
