Now it goes without saying that schedules can be made to fit within each performer’s multiple obligations, so this is more speculation.

Recently Jared Leto released his Tour Schedule for his band 30 Seconds to Mars on Twitter. You’ll notice the end of the tour is within a week or so from when it’s expected Suicide Squad to start shooting. Could this clue in to how big of a role The Joker will have in the film?

After all, if it’s as big as The Joker’s role in the animated film Batman: Assault on Arkham, they could shoot around him and the tour could go on for longer. It could also just be so he can be on set and get familiar with Will Smith and Margot Robbie, whose characters will more than likely be in most of Joker’s scenes.

Either way, as a fan of both Suicide Squad and 30 Seconds to Mars I have major respect to how he is juggling both fan bases. These tours are usually planned months in advanced and he managed to fit this role into his schedule. Hopefully this continues if he’s called upon for future films.
