The Hollywood Reporter is reporting that Dave Callaham, writer of The Expendables, will add his touch to the script for the Wonder Woman sequel.
According to the report, Wonder Woman sequel director Patty Jenkins bought the writer in thanks to their strong relationship and he will collaborate with Geoff Johns and Jenkins. No word on why Allan Heinberg and Jason Fuchs, who co-wrote the first film, are not returning, but it’s not unusual.
Callaham other works also include 2014 Godzilla and reboot of The Wolfman that’s part of Universal Pictures’ monster cinematic universe.
Wonder Woman 2 is scheduled for release on December 13, 2019.
