David F. Sandberg director of Shazam, once again shares a photo each day showing that he is hard at work in pre-production on the film and now we have our first major update since Day 1.
Marked Day 5, Sandberg shows more soda cans, indicating he has had very little sleep, but also some figures hinting at a certain talking tiger who fans can speculate might be joining the ranks. This character is Tawky Tawny, in the troll script page we saw we did see dialogue from him, but while that page was false, perhaps the characters in the page aren’t, which did include Superman. This could also hint that these parts have gotten casted officially.
Another hint he is giving us is that he is looking to the Captain Marvel days, which in itself is far from the tone we got so far in the DC Extended Universe. David F. Sandberg talked about his inspirations in the past, so now we get more of a clue on which issues.
Shazam is written by Henry Gayden and Directed by David F. Sandberg, and is set to be released in 2019.
