DC Comics to Have Major Presence at San Diego Comic Con

According to Deadline, Hall H at San Diego Comic Con will be Warner Bros. and DC Comics focused presence. With Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice already done filming and Suicide Squad deep into the filming stage it wouldn’t be surprised if we saw a new trailer for Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice and a teaser for Suicide Squad.

Warner Bros. has a huge opportunity as well to announce some casting news, get Cyborg’s first look and release dates for Sandman, Batman and Superman solo films and possibly Justice League Dark. We may even discover why George Miller was on the Suicide Squad set, if he is involved in a film.

Of course this is all speculation but considering it is reported that they will be huge this year gives reason to believe at least a few of those reveals will occur.

Last years Comic-Con was mixed but it featured a special trailer that was meant only for the fans who attended and although they were still shooting Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice, Zack Snyder, Henry Cavill, Gal Gadot and Ben Affleck all made a huge splash appearing on stage as the Holy Trinity, plus we got our first look at Wonder Woman’s costume.

The year before that we had Henry Lennix (who played Lieutenant General Swanwick in Man of Steel) came on stage and read a passage which confirmed Batman Vs Superman, as it was dubbed at the time, as being the next film in the DC Cinematic Universe.

Both Comic Cons had little to show and still managed to steal the show. Now that this will be the first Comic Con where they have footage, a slate and more to show. Warner Bros. knows they have a great opportunity in front of them.
