Seth Rogan has announced via his Twitter that Dominic Cooper has officially been cast as Jesse Custer in the upcoming AMC series Preacher, based on the DC Imprint Vertigo comic book series with the same name.
Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg (This is The End, Neighbors, The Interview) are directing and as well as writing along with Sam Catlin (Breaking Bad), meanwhile James Weaver (This is The End, Neighbors, The Interview) will oversee the series.

Dominic Cooper is the latest actor known for his current Marvel role as Young Howard Stark to join the DC / Vertigo Universe, making me wonder what others may cross on over?
My name is Eric and I am loving this current comic book boom, I was around for the first one with Superman: The Movie, Supergirl(being the first female and crossover film) and Batman and have been enjoying the resurgence since Blade. Can't express how much I cannot wait for WB & DC to take back the film universe but until than I love the TV shows we have gotten.
