Dwayne Johnson Promises Hope, Fun and Optimism in DC Extended Universe’s Future

Dwayne Johnson, who’s playing Black Adam, went to his Instagram to expressed his excitement for the future of the DC Extended Universe. He also speaks about the film’s will be more optimistic, hopeful and fun, a constant promise many filmmakers have talked about lately and how excited he is for us to meet Black Adam.

This follows a tweet made by producer Hiram Garcia, about a great discussion he had with those at Warner Bros. and a tease he made on big things coming soon.

Shazam is so far the only film that will be in the DC Extended Universe that will be released by New Line Cinema.

Geoff Johns, the Chief Creative Officer of DC Comics and one of the heads of the DC Extended Universe added his own opinion on the meeting.

Eric Curto

My name is Eric and I am loving this current comic book boom, I was around for the first one with Superman: The Movie, Supergirl(being the first female and crossover film) and Batman and have been enjoying the resurgence since Blade. Can't express how much I cannot wait for WB & DC to take back the film universe but until than I love the TV shows we have gotten. I only started reading comics about 10 years ago but am connected more to DC over Marvel or any other major company. If you wanna chat feel free to contact me
