We have already seen Barry Allen/The Flash change the future this first season, where Cisco died, Barry revealed himself to Iris amongst a tsunami and apparently the writers are going to explore alternate realities even further as Grant Gustin told TV Guide in an interview with them, that in Season 2 they will explore Earth 1 and Earth 2.
“What’s fun about this show is that there’s going to be multiple timelines as we move forward,” Gustin says. “I think we’re going to start showing Earth-One and Earth-Two in the near future. There will be kind of different dimensions going on.”
What’s interesting is, isn’t The Flash already in Earth 1? He may have just meant explore more about Earth 1, but we have seen Reverse Flash speak to a comatose Barry and speaking about a different Barry we have not seen, so could we end up seeing the original timeline from Reverse Flash’s memory? We already know that Dr. Wells has escalated certain events to speed up other events, now we may get to see how it all went originally.
