Greg Berlanti Denies Any Possibility of a Crossover for Black Lightning

Greg Berlanti has had quite a weekend with the news that all of his The CW shows connecting to the DC Universe have all been given another season and being able to help revive Constantine in animation, Berlanti spoke on the Black Lightning television Series that is in development for FOX and if there will be any possibility of it crossing over to The CW television series.

“I don’t think so,” Berlanti said. “If we’re lucky enough that that exists, that that show exists, I don’t think those worlds will cross over.”

This makes a lot of sense, while many speculate the same discussions happened about Supergirl, that was a different issue as CBS co-owns The CW, so there was always a possibility, one that even  Berlanti had said in the past. With Black Lightning and it being on FOX, it’s not likely due to the fact that Paramount who owns CBS and Warner Bros., who co-owns The CW, have no ties with the series except for the fact they make the show through Warner Bros. Television.
