Glen Winter, one of the producers, directors and director of photography for Arrow and The Flash tweeted a group photo on his Twitter account stating both shows are now shooting their final episodes for this season.
Winter also worked on Smallville for many years, as well working on the upcoming Supergirl series for CBS, so he very much has earned the Summer hiatus, although as we reported earlier the new The CW spinoff maybe beginning shooting this weekend, so he may not be done yet.

My name is Eric and I am loving this current comic book boom, I was around for the first one with Superman: The Movie, Supergirl(being the first female and crossover film) and Batman and have been enjoying the resurgence since Blade. Can't express how much I cannot wait for WB & DC to take back the film universe but until than I love the TV shows we have gotten.
