Harley Quinn Animated Series Coming in 2018

The popularity for Harley Quinn continues to evolve with a new Harley Quinn animated series coming in 2018 for the DC Streaming Service. According to Deadline, heroes and villains are joining Harley Quinn on her adventures which will take place after Harley Quinn cut ties with The Joker, similar to her solo comic book title.

Powerless show runners Justin Halpern, Patrick Schumaker and Dean Lorey are serving as Executive Producers, through Warner Bros. Animation.

Sam Registe president of Warner Bros. Animation and Warner Digital Series, will also  be an executive produces on the series. Jennifer Coyle (DC Super Hero Girls: Hero of the Year) will produce with Halpern and Schumacker’s Ehsugadee Productions in association with Warner Bros. Animation.

SERIES DESCRIPTION 

Written and executive produced by Halpern, Schumacker and Lorey, Harley Quinn, based on the DC characters, focuses on Harley Quinn who has finally broken things off once and for all with the Joker and attempts to make it on her own as the criminal Queenpin of Gotham City. The series features Harley Quinn, Poison Ivy and a whole cast of heroes and villains, old and new, from the DC Universe.

Harley Quinn: The Animated Series is the third exclusive series (second animated one) that is going to be added to the DC Streaming service, along with the animated Young Justice: Outsiders series and live action series Titans.
