Aquaman director James Wan officially announced a few days ago that actor Randall Park was cast in the movie as Dr. Shin, as pickups for the movie were being shot. Due to this many news sites began running articles assuming that a new character was added for the reshoots, because of this James Wan has gone to social media to set the record straight.

Internet personality Grace Randolph tweeted how no one seemed to noticed that Aquaman announced the reshoots as pickups and  Wan decided to speak up stating that Dr. Shin was in the script from the day one and Randall Parks got cast last August.

My name is Eric and I am loving this current comic book boom, I was around for the first one with Superman: The Movie, Supergirl(being the first female and crossover film) and Batman and have been enjoying the resurgence since Blade. Can't express how much I cannot wait for WB & DC to take back the film universe but until than I love the TV shows we have gotten. I only started reading comics about 10 years ago but am connected more to DC over Marvel or any other major company. If you wanna chat feel free to contact me
