Jared Leto was spotted on Thursday returning to Toronto, Canada where the Suicide Squad is filming, after being on break for a few weeks. This news is interesting after our reporting about Ace Chemicals being confirmed to be in the film.
Based on these facts we can assume we will get an origin of sorts for The Joker. Of course, in the New 52 Joker throws Harley into the same chemicals and we did see a scene of a soaking wet Harley in the trailer, so we can also speculate that scene is after her emergence from the vat of chemicals.

My name is Eric and I am loving this current comic book boom, I was around for the first one with Superman: The Movie, Supergirl(being the first female and crossover film) and Batman and have been enjoying the resurgence since Blade. Can't express how much I cannot wait for WB & DC to take back the film universe but until than I love the TV shows we have gotten.
