Variety announced that Joby Harold has signed on to write a new script for The Flash. This news comes after Rick Famuyiwa and Seth Gramme-Smith both turned in scripts and were set to direct, but left due to creative differences.
According to the Variety, since Ezra Miller will be filming Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them 2, Warner Bros. Executives took the opportunity to start over with The Flash script.
Harold has written films such as Robin Hood: Origins , which is in development. He also wrote and directed the feature Awake with Jessica Alba and was the one who wrote the first draft for Edge of Tomorrow with Tom Cruise and served as Executive Producer.
