Joe Manganiello, who is playing Slade Wilson/Deathstroke in the DC Extended Universe, starting with Justice League, spoke on getting ready to play the role for Ben Affleck’s Batman solo film on the Rich Eisen Show.

In the interview Manganiello spends a minute to say that the film looks like it will be ready to shoot this year. Of course he could be referring to working on the film within the next 12 months.

It may also mean he is referring to 2016, meaning this month, recently he and Armie Hammer have tweeted each other and saying they will begin working together “in a few days, ” after it became clear that Armie Hammer could have been cast in the DC Extended Universe.
