John Francis Daley confirmed today through his Twitter account that Flashpoint is officially moving forward, as he tweeted a gif of The Flash with the simple words “It’s happening!”.
Spider-Man: Homecoming writers John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein were in talks to direct and write The Flash standalone movie last month and confirmed their involvement in a recent interview with Collider, where they spoke how they landed the job of directing and writing the first standalone Flash movie.

Flashpoint does not have an official release date or production start date, but it will still star Ezra Miller as Barry Allen.
