Justice League and Aquaman Details for San Diego Comic Con Announced

It was revealed last week that Warner Bros. and DC Entertainment would be letting their presence known at San Diego Comic Con 2017 and like many fans this came as no surprise. However we did not know when and what time.

Deadline is reporting the details for the DC Extended Universe films that are now in the works, that being Zack Snyder’s Justice League and James Wan’s Aquaman.

The presentation from Warner Bros. will be held in Hall H at 11am on July 22, 2017.

For Aquaman many fans are expecting a Comic Con trailer or a teaser to drop, but no confirmation, James Wan has been filming for quite a while, so wouldn’t be surprised if we get a tease, like we got with Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, Suicide Squad, Wonder Woman and Justice League.

Jason Momoa (Arthur Curry/Aquaman)and director James Wan are so far the only ones confirmed for the 2018 film. Though wouldn’t rule out Amber Heard(Mera)or any other cast members.

Justice League

A trailer’s expected to début, possibly the last trailer before its November 17th, 2017 release.

Ben Affleck (Bruce Wayne/Batman), Gal Gadot (Princess Diana/Wonder Woman), Ezra Miller (Barry Allen/The Flash), Jason Momoa (Arthur Curry/Aquaman), Ray Fisher (Victor Stone/Cyborg).

No word on whether Zack Snyder will make an appearance, with the family tragedy that recently occurred I won’t fault him for staying away. But Snyder is also a huge fan and appreciates his fans. Henry Cavill is not on the list to appear but don’t count out a possible surprise.

Reshoot director Joss Whedon recently said he was not going to appear at this year’s San Diego Comic Con as he is finishing up Justice League, however,  since than his reply about not attending was deleted, so don’t be surprised if he makes a surprise appearance as Zack Snyder, Henry Cavill, Gal Gadot and Ben Affleck made a surprise appearance in 2015’s event.

David Ayer, who wrote and directed Suicide Squad and is returning for Gotham City Sirens will also be at San Diego Comic Con for his new film Bright, so perhaps he will have some updated news on his next DC Extended Universe film.
