We already reported on Machima’s renewal for the upcoming web series Justice League: Gods and Monsters Chronicles now Variety is reporting that two DC related projects Being officially announced.
DC Hero Project is a reality competition from Machinima, WB’s Blue Ribbon Content and DC Entertainment pitting eight contestants in elimination challenges to develop a live-action short video based on their own interpretations of characters from DC Comics’ “Starman” comic book series. Celebrity special guests will join DC Entertainment chief creative officer Geoff Johns and a panel of judges to oversee the entire competition.
“#4Hero”: A modern adaptation of DC Comics’ cult-favorite “Dial H for Hero,” the live-action, vfx-heavy action-comedy series, about a young woman named Nellie Tribble who is quietly desperate to make her mark on the world but wholly unprepared to do so.
Not too interested in the Reality Show, but the second show sounds interesting but it is weird that we still have no update on Static Shock, as we reported that it’s still in development but the announcement was a long while ago and was hoping for some casting news at least by now.
