Madison McLaughlin, who plays Evelyn Sharp on Arrow and made her first appearance in season four in episode “Canary Cry”, will be returning, but this time as Artemis.
According to Variety, Madison McLaughlin’s role has been given an upgrade as a season regular, as she takes on the role of Artemis, starting in season five episode two, as she attempts to forge her own identity.
Artemis Crock is the daughter of Paula Brook’s Tigress and Crusher Crock’s Sportsmasters, villains in the DC Universe and eventually becomes the third Tigress and a member of the Injustice Society.
In the Animated Series Young Justice, Artemis (voiced by Stephanie Lemelin) became a heroine, which this looks to be where they are taking the inspiration from. Although, I wouldn’t be surprised if she turns to villainy for a bit.
