Matt Berberi Played The Joker’s Stunt Double in Birds of Prey

According to IMDb, stunt double actor Matt Berberi was the stunt performer for The Joker in Cathy Yan’s Birds of Prey (And the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn).

As we previously reported ,behind the scenes photo of Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn were released which featured someone dressed exactly like Jared Leto’s Joker, as it looked like he was kicking Harley out from whatever location they’re residing in the movie’s storyline.

From the photos that were released, it’s clear that whoever was standing in was dressed as The Joker from David Ayer’s Suicide Squad, but at the time of the filming it was confirmed that Leto was in the United Kingdom filming Sony’s Morbius, so it was clearly not him.

Though later on that day, Leto did go onto his Snapchat and shared a memory from when he was filming Suicide Squad, which was simply of a clown emoji. This led to many fans to speculate that it’s possible Leto will in fact going to appear in the movie or at least lend his voice for the scene that was filmed featuring The Joker.

Berberi’s name appearing on the IMDb profile for Birds of Prey only simply confirms that he was at least the stand-in for The Joker in the movie, but doesn’t confirm anything in regards to Leto himself appearing in the movie.

Birds of Prey releases in theaters on February 7, 2020.
