According to TVLine a casting call has been sent out for a new character to be introduced in Season 2 of The Flash for Episode 2 named Wendy, character description reads like this:
Wendy is described as bright and scientific-minded — more specifically, “Think ‘Felicity Smoak’ from Arrow,” the casting call reads. She is also described as a “spunky, fun and funny” romantic interest for one Barry Allen
Now this may put fans off a bit as Felicity had gone down a bit in the recent season of Arrow, still we could get someone with her personality from the beginning of Arrow, in which case she was a great character. The article also states she will feel “familiar” so that has me wondering a bit, is she from an alternate universe? Maybe she came through the time portal and no one noticed or she could just be familiar in the way she acts.
Well that is our first new casting call, who do you think it is? Could it be a brand new character? Or is it an adapted version of an existing character? The only character I could find named Wendy was from the Superfriends, maybe its a new version of her?
