Possible Batman Solo Film Details Leaked?

Shares

This could possibly be something that is meant as a San Diego Comic Con surprise and due to that we ask do not scroll down if you don’t want to be spoiled.

Also please take this with a grain of salt, as there no reliable source on this one. Normally we wouldn’t even bother with this type of news, however all the signs are pointing to it possibly being real.

But it is the internet and caution should be applied.

I recently came across an interesting piece of information that can possibly be the working or official title of the Batman solo film, as well as the Director, Writer and Release Date for the film.

WARNING: If this is meant to be a San Diego Comic Con surprise and you don’t want to be spoiled DO NOT scroll down. You have been warned!

LAST CHANCE

OK!

HERE IT IS!

A photo of a Casting Call Sheet with details on the Batman Solo film:

According to the Call Sheet:

  • WORKING OR OFFICIAL TITLE: The Batman
This has been a title many assumed would be the title of the solo Batman film, but again if this is real it could just be a working title. We also see as it saying the status of the film is in “Development”, which we knew when DC announced their slate that a solo Batman and Superman film are being developed, just no set date.
  •

  • RELEASE DATE: November, 2018
This seems to fit as we reported before from Flaurent Soki, who’s an employee for Warner Bros., that stated the solo film would be released before 2019. The only thing that makes us question this release date is that the Harry Potter spin-off sequel Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them 2 is scheduled for November 15, 2018 and it seems unlikely that Warner Bros. would want to compete with themselves and also both franchises have similar fans. However, anything can happen to move it from that date or Batman’s date could be a working date, studios often times set a film on a schedule and change their minds later on.
  •

  • WRITER, DIRECTOR AND STAR: Chris Terrio and Ben Affleck
This is of course what many are assuming will happen as the two have won an Oscar together for Argo and Ben Affleck recruited Chris Terrio into reworking David S Goyer’s original Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice script. He is also expected to be writing the two Justice League films that will be Directed by Zack Snyder.
  •

  • PRODUCERS: Zack Snyder, Deborah Snyder, Michael Uslan and Charles Roven
Zack Snyder, Deborah Snyder are both pretty much heading at least the first “Phase” of this DC Cinematic Universe, while Zack Snyder is an Executive Producer on Suicide Squad he is seen as Producer on Wonder Woman, so it fits. Charles Roven is the head of Atlas Entertainment, the studio that is working on both Suicide Squad and Wonder Woman, so its natural for him to be listed among the Producers. Also Michael Uslan (he is usually credited as Michael E. Uslan, so that is a bit suspicious) has been the main Batman Producer since Tim Burton’s 1989 Batman, so there is no surprise there.
  •

  • PRODUCTION STUDIOS: Atlas Entertainment, Batfilms Productions, WB Pictures, DC Entertainment, Cruel & Unusual Films, Pearl Street Films.
The first four studios are already studios we know working on the DC Slate going into 2020. Cruel & Unusual Films are also working on Wonder Woman but have also worked on a few Zack Snyder films such as Sucker Punch and Watchmen. Thanks to Mo-I.Q for the clarification, Pearl Street Films is Ben Affleck and Matt Damon’s production company.

Upon looking further at the picture we notice the bottom film “Each Pizza” as we can tell that’s the title, since its cut off has two Productions studios and we did find out that they do exists as well, nothing on the paper seems to be made up when it comes to names or production companies. As for everything in regards to the solo Batman film, we’ll have to wait and see.
