Price Increase on Select Rebirth Titles with Digital Codes Coming in April

DC Comics have had a very successful year since it launched its “Rebirth” story line and it’s price drop to $2.99, now they are increasing the price on select titles, but will be offering the readers a Digital Code, similar to how getting a Blu-Ray on most titles come with Digital Codes as an alternative.

The price increase will be $3.99 and as stated above will include a digital code. The Digital release will stay at $2.99 since it’s not physical.

All of the titles are surprisingly once a month titles, so those who are nervous can be rest assured it’s not the twice monthly titles.

Batgirl, Batgirl & The Birds of Prey, Batman Beyond, Batwoman, Blue Beetle, Cyborg, The Hellblazer, New Super-Man, Red Hood & The Outlaws, Super Sons, Supergirl, Superwoman, Teen Titans, Titans, and Trinity.

All Star Batman is another that is receiving Digital Codes but it is already at the #3.99 price and will stay that way. The announcement does not say whether we will get codes for all the issues that have already occurred or at the last the beginning of the story arcs that are going on.

I will continue to support the physical media, but this is good news for those who want both as they will get their physical copy and get half off the digital one and for those only getting digital the price won’t change.

At the moment DC Comics have said all the twice monthly titles will stay at $2.99.
