Robert Pattinson Says He Absolutely Can’t Talk About Batman

As we previously reported, actor Robert Pattinson who’s in talks to play Batman in Matt Reeves’s The Batman, avoided to answer questions regarding his possible casting as the Dark Knight at the Cannes Film Festival earlier this week when asked on it during an interview at the Vanity Fair party.

Now in another interview at the Cannes Film Festival with the French magazine GALA, Pattinson went on to say that he absolutely can’t talk about Batman after being asked about being chosen as the next Batman.

GALA:  What can you tell us about you being chosen to play the next Batman?

Pattinson: I’m sorry, but I absolutely can’t talk about that.

As we reported, Warner Bros. has confirmed there’s no deal with Pattinson and according to Deadline, he’s just one of the short list actors up for the role, that list including Mad Max: Fury Road and X-men fame actor Nicholas Hoult.
