According to Deadline, Sharon Leal (Dreamgirls) has been cast in the role of M ‘gann M ‘orzz/Miss Martian in season two of Supergirl.M ‘gann M ‘orzz/Miss Martian is a White Martian in the comics, who joins up with the Teen Titans under the guise that she is Martian Manhunter’s niece. She became famous for non-readers when she was featured on the Young Justice animated series. It would certainly be interesting if we may see a live action version of the Teen Titans or Young Justice as more and more members are coming to The CW.
The CW Chief Mark Pedowitz spoke a bit about the casting and any fear people may have with the great amount of castings being done lately
“They’re casting the whole time, but Calista will be a permanent, recurring character and hopefully she’ll do as many episodes as she wants,” said Pedowitz.
No character description was given about how the character will be represented but its more than likely not far from being revealed.
