Stan Lee who’s one of the most recognizable faces in the comic book and pop culture world spoke with The Boston Herald about various things, such as childhood heroes, personal heroes and finally who he thinks would win in a fight between Batman and Superman.

He remarks that he was very good friends with Batman creator Bob Kane and Jerry Siegel, Superman’s co-creator worked for him for some time, so his loyalties are a bit torn on giving a definitive answer.

When discussing why Superman would win he says:

“He’s indestructible and can do anything”

When discussing Batman he says:

“Batman relies on a few weapons”

My name is Eric and I am loving this current comic book boom, I was around for the first one with Superman: The Movie, Supergirl(being the first female and crossover film) and Batman and have been enjoying the resurgence since Blade. Can't express how much I cannot wait for WB & DC to take back the film universe but until than I love the TV shows we have gotten. I only started reading comics about 10 years ago but am connected more to DC over Marvel or any other major company. If you wanna chat feel free to contact me

  • Am I the only one that finds Stan Lee to be over rated & annoying? For him to be lauded as such the comic guru, everything that comes out of his mouth about DC always seems to be ignorant & uninformed.

    • Saturn

You are not wrong. Stan Lee always comes off as ignorant Marvelite who do not know a thing about DC Comics and yet gives off his narrow opinions of how DC Comics should be.

I hated stan lee stupid jerk and not funny cameo movies. I hope DCEU dont play he cameos, fr…k him.

    • I like Stan Lee, that said… there’s no reason for him to appear in a DCEU film as he has nothing to do with those characters.
