According to My Entertainment World, the Suicide Squad sequel is scheduled to start filming in Marc of 2018. Gavin O’Connor is in the director’s chair, as David Ayer chose to helm Gotham City Sirens, over the second installment to his hit film Suicide Squad.

No official casting news was announced but the source does suggested a few returning actors are coming aboard. Of course, this could just be their assumption of the plot. It was rumored Jared Leto was returning as The Joker, but Leto stated in a recent interview that he wasn’t sure when he’d return, though he did go on to praise O’Connor’s as a director.

Story:
The film is about Deadshot, Harley Quinn, the Joker, Captain Boomerang and Killer Croc work together to help the government.
